The Upper Secondary School (SEK II) at the DSL

The upper school of the German School London leads to the German International Abitur (DIA). Our students can also take the International Baccalaureate (IB)[1] with us. These highly respected qualifications give our graduates access to German, British and other European and international universities.

The organization and structure of the upper secondary school at the German School London are based on the binding guidelines and regulations of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (Kultusministerkonferenz, KMK), in particular on the recommendations for work in the upper secondary school and the agreements on uniform examination requirements in the currently valid versions. The basis for this is the "Regulations for Obtaining the General Higher Education Entrance Qualification at German Schools Abroad" and the "Guidelines for the Regulations for Obtaining the General German Higher Education Entrance Qualification at German Schools Abroad".
