Dear school community, parents and students,
Welcome to the Secondary Department of the German School London.
I am Claudia Wolff-Lieser and, as Deputy Headteacher, I run the secondary section of the DSL together with Oliver Schmitz. In the school year 2021_22, I also had the special pleasure of leading the entire school on a provisional basis. Before that, I worked for many years at a Bavarian grammar school near Munich. There, the many experiences within the school, but also the open and mutually respectful interaction with all those involved in school life proved to be particularly important and sustainable for me.
Comprehensive education and learning in the local community are an important and irreplaceable asset - the past years have clearly shown us that. At the DSL, we want to create a diverse, stimulating and stable environment for our students in which they can grow and develop their skills to the best of their abilities. This includes the bilingual orientation of the school and the international school community with over 30 nations.
